Tungle me … well, Tungle you, too!
I love online calendar systems. They make my heart go pitter patter like some women when they get around a pair of Jimmy Choo’s.
My friend, Terri, turned me on to Tungle a few weeks ago, and initially, I thought it was going to be a giant pain in my kiester, but when it EFFORTLESSLY synched with my Google calendar – my heart sang, the Heavens opened and the angels sang! Oh-My-Freaking-Goodness! Clients can go in, make an appointment and I can easily change my times from day to day and week to week with ease.
My clients love it because they don’t have to sign up for an account in order to schedule time. They simply click on my link (which I put in my email signature line) and they can go and see when I’m available and make their appointment with me.
Another great thing – the times are shown in your own time zone. I’m in Eastern time and two of my clients are in Pacific time. They don’t have to do math (which is NOT our strong suit) in order to figure out when we can talk. I simply marked the times I’m available and then voila! it shows that if I’m available at 1 p.m. my time, its listed at 10 a.m. their time. LOVE IT!
Other great features:
- when you add something to your personal calendar – Tungle will automatically update your availablility and will update any outstanding meeting invitations
- once a meeting is booked, everyone on the invitation list gets notice
- easy synchronization with LinkedIn, Facebook and Xing (if you need or want that)
I’ve tried GenBook and TimeDriver calendaring systems before, and they always seemed to be lacking something – whether its ease of use or they just flat didn’t synch with my Google calendar. I’m happy to say Tungle seems to be the best of the lot so far.
I highly recommend Tungle calendaring system for any busy WAHM. I love it because I use Google calendar to keep my home stuff, school stuff and work stuff all together in one place. Tungle will look at that and work effortlessly with my clients, too.
