Tips for Earning More Money as an Alpha WAHM Affiliate

  1. Tweak, edit and test. The above ad texts are suggestions. They’re good suggestions but we want you to succeed as an affiliate, and that means being sensitive to your audience. Add your own headlines. Write and TEST different calls to action in your affiliate links. The key is to use these ads in a targeted fashion. And then test different versions for response rates. Be sure to install analytics tracking on your landing pages to really zero in on the right traffic. (We recommend Google Analytics. Free. Easy. Simple.)
  2. Lather. Rinse. Repeat (and repeat and repeat and repeat). People usually need to see or hear a message repeatedly before buying, so be sure to give your advertising consistent exposure. For example, one lonely email mention won’t do it. Instead, run a promo over the course of a few weeks. Or post a banner ad to a prominent page on your website … we like homepages ;)
  3. Write a book review. Yes this means you have to actually buy the book. But it’s a small investment for the possible returns. You only have to sell 3 books to earn your money back plus a little extra. Read the book, make notes on what you liked best, and then post a short review to your blog or website. You might even want to note something you didn’t like to add extra credibility!
  4. Post a short video. Video blogging is hot and only going to get hotter. If you have the gift of gab, publish a short video of you talking up the book. Make sure you’ve got the book in your hands while you talk so you can show people you believe in your product enough to own it.
  5. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Get traffic to your book review post or web page. No traffic, no sales! Send out an email to your list linking to the review. Tweet about it. Facebook it. Chat it up. This is how affiliates really start to earn the bucks.

Please don’t spam your list or the social media with your affiliate link. If we see an affiliate promoting the book in an unsavory way, we reserve the right to cancel your affiliate account. Period.
